8.00am – With your workout done, take the short stroll back to your Aaron Wise apartment for a refreshing, muscle soothing shower before heading back into the city for breakfast.

9.00am – Take a walk through the beautiful Sophia Gardens and head towards Pedal Power café. The charity run café offers a range of delicious meals, both light, and hearty, depending on your mood. Once your stomach is full, grab a rental bike and take off for the Taff Trail.

10.00am – Just a short cycle away is the stunning, magical Castell Coch. The fairy tale-esque landmark, also known as the Red Castle, towers above the forests and leaves visitors of all ages in awe of its structure. Explore the castle grounds, and admire the magnificent architecture before peddling off in the direction of your next adventure.

12.30 – Put your pedals to side as you tackle the adventures the Cardiff Bay Sports Village offers. Whether you’re looking to ride some waves, paddle through the bay, or unleash your inner monkey on the high ropes challenge, there’s plenty of adventure to be had.

1.30 – When food demands to be had, hop back on your bike and pedal a short was across the bay to Demiro’s. The independent restaurant combines traditional Italian cuisine with modern, creative twists.

3.00 – With your stomach full, take a gentle cycle back to Dogo Road to return your wheels for the day. With the apartment so close, head back for a quick shower before making your way into the city centre.

4.30 – To celebrate your hard work and adventuring, treat yourself to a liquid nitrogen made ice cream. Science Cream offers a delicious array of flavours to get your tastebuds tingling (literally).

5.00 – Take some time to explore the quirky alleys winding through the city centre, and the creative spaces that fill them.

6.30 – Make a stop before heading to dinner, and find your way to Lab 22. The scientific bar that combines a wild world of flavours to create delicious, creative concoctions. Treat yourself to a cocktail or two, perhaps an Ohm, made with an intoxicating mix of rum and Aztec chocolate.

8.00 – Keeping in theme with numbers, head to Bar 44 for the ultimate tapas menu. The traditional Spanish tapas are fresh, vibrant and moreish beyond belief. Experiment with flavours and new dishes and bring out your wild side. Stick around after dinner for a few cocktails from their carefully selected and sourced Copas menu to get you in a dancing mood.

10.00 – Before the night is through, put on your dancing shoes. Head to Bootlegger, the perfect bar to toss back your hair and dance the night away.
